Dr. Matthew Truong, MD

As a California native, Dr. Truong graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in Human Biology. At Stanford, he was captain of the chess team and musical director for Mixed Company a cappella. After college, he completed medical school at the University of Wisconsin and urology residency at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He then completed a prestigious two-year Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO) fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Truong has conducted clinical and basic science research on prostate cancer and has published in leading journals including Cancer, the Journal of Urology, and Urologic Oncology. Dr. Truong practices general urology and urologic oncology and has a special interest in robotic and minimally invasive surgery. In his spare time, he plays the piano and spends time with his amazing wife and three children.
